A dark comedy following the two main characters (and more) after one accidentally hits someone with his car and stuffs the body in his trunk in a panic. The film follows him and his best friend as they figure out what to do with the body, physically and morally. The further the film goes on the less comedic it gets as the characters start turning on each other which leads to lots of discussion, and a dramatic ending.
Danny Moore and Blake Starr get trapped with a body and will do anything and everything to get out of the sticky situation unscathed, only the question is: How far are you willing to go?
I believe The Body has immense potential to be a stylized and emotionally dense feature, the mood starts off light featuring dark comedy throughout, but as it goes on the characters get into tenser arguments and situations which ease the audience into the strong tonal shift, which includes strong character performances, plot twists, and a very emotional and harrowing third act.
The film follows themes such as loyalty and the toxicity that comes with that, moral dilemmas and an overarching theme of false friendship and how it gets tested to reveal it's true nature.

The official script has been finished by Vincent Isphording (me) and is currently in the polishing phase of the final rewrites.
The film has not been financed yet, we are still considering studios, budgets and our memorable cast before we lock in on a specific cast crew and shoot.
Casting is in progress, no official names have been attached to this project publically.
Stay tuned for more updates on the start of production.
